    Wow, thanks.

This is pretty bad. It’s getting worse. The zone from about 80th on south is something of no go, and they’re gripping San Antonio around 5th Ave. A month ago, the OPD busted a cafe (that never really was one- it opened in about 2009 or so as “Cafe Dang”, was open a short while, and shut. It would have some parties at night, it looked, but never really any business) at 649 E 12th, where the local business owners say its a gambling/gang hangout (be careful if you go to the VACCEB or the schools around there. people from that place are making a presence). The dreadlock guys from there come out very early AM and hangs out at local businesses. Some think he my have been involved with the assault, battery and robbery of the owner of the fishing shop a few doors away. The assault/robbery of a Vietnamese man arriving one day on 6th. (The owner of the fishing shop described one as having those long dreads.) A murder at 300 E 12th in 2015, Oakland’s 13th homicide that year, may have been some Hispanic gang hit- a white truck was at the scene hours before (12AM) finding a parking spot in sight of where the victim was shot. 3 hours later was the killing, and just when the police left, 2 Hispanics in hoodies walked up (6AM on a foggy Sunday), looked at the cars there, then the truck pulled up and took them away (they came out of 4th Ave, were seen by a resident of the towers).

It used to be a nice area. The hookers work on 14th at night, but it wasn’t as deadly as it is now.
